    Time for a Break

High School has officially taken its toll. I knew that this was coming, but I had no idea that it would hit this hard! Over the past few weeks, I’ve been absolutely worn out. Luckily, the light at the end of the tunnel is getting closer and closer. As I write this, I am on I-95 South about to cross into Florida. Right now, I’m on the way to Steinhatchee, Florida, where I am spending the weekend fishing the flats on the Gulf of Mexico with Captain Jim Henley and my dad. There is no place in the world more relaxing than Steinhatchee. The people are amazingly friendly, the weather is beautiful, the food is delicious, and the fishing is superb! The small town charm that Steinhatchee offers is not matched by anywhere else in the country.

Taking these little trips gives me a lot of time to just sit on the porch of the Steinhatchee River Inn and watch the tide run. It truly gives you time to take in all the wonderful creation that this country has been blessed with. It really is beautiful out there on the Gulf. It’s warm and breezy, you’re surrounded by crystal clear water, and you don’t have to worry about anything else! I’ll be sure to post some pictures (and an update) when we head for the Hill.

    See Yall Soon!
